With nearly 20 years of tax industry experience and as a successful small business owner, Edgar opened his first tax service bureau in August of 2008. Leading with an unwavering determination, he is most satisfied in presenting solutions to grow his customers’ businesses.
Away from his desk he loves golf, traveling and spending time with family.
Dan Beckler
Managing Partner
After graduating with degrees in both business administration and psychology from the University of Washington, Dan worked as a loan officer and was on the first city council of the city of Maple Valley at the age of 27. He then began his current 20+ year career in the tax industry.
When he’s not at work, he enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with his wife and three children.
John Colver
Chief Executive Officer
John has over 20 years’ experience in the tax industry working with several software companies in different roles. He also has another 5+ years in legal and corporate compliance.
When he’s not working, he’s spending time with his family and hiking the Cascades or just enjoying all the Northwest has to offer.
Paul Slagle
Chief Operation Officer
Paul has 31 years of experience in the tax software industry. 21 of those years were in development, sales, and marketing roles. He’s also spent many years in accounting and finance both within and outside the tax industry.
Paul has an e-bike that he rides in the foothills around his home, and he and his wife Faith enjoy camping in their travel trailer.
Ben McDonald
Director of Partner Support
Ben’s career in the industry began in 1999 and spans across multiple companies and roles.
He’s managed the Support, Training, and Bank Services departments at uTax since 2013.
In addition to “puttering around in the yard” in his spare time, Ben cooks, and hikes with his dog in the woods near his home.
Maria Rosero
Director of Marketing
Maria has 22 years of experience in business development, sales, and marketing. For the past three years, she has been leading the uTax marketing department.
She is very passionate about serving her community. When she is not lending a hand to charitable organizations, she is spending time with her family and 3 dogs.
